We all love a good spy novel, or a Hollywood version of the spy thriller. The rush and the excitements on the silver screen create an instant relationship with the protagonists of the film unveil the secrets, leaving us baffled! Popular fictions like “The Vinci Code” have opened the hidden world of signs and symbols to us. The fiction was all about understanding and finding out the clues and the secrets that hidden in a number of master peaces made during the renascence. Most of us have neither the time nor the expertise to uncover the messages within plain sight. The bombardment of information embedded in the day-to-day objects that we come across have some of the messages hidden in the plain. The logos of many well-reputed brands got a simple yet relevant message that remains hidden from most of us.

The hidden arrow >

Can you spot something in this logo? The FedEx logo, designed in 1994 by Linden Leader & Landor Associates, at first appears simple and straightforward. However, if you look at the white space between the “E” and “x” you can see a right-facing arrow. This “hidden” arrow was intended to be a subliminal symbol for speed and precision.

Its not only with Fedex. Everyone knows about the amazon.com.

Selling products from A to the Z

Take a good look at amazon.com logo. That yellow arrow is more than just a decorative swoosh. The Amazon logo was created to represent the message that it sells everything from A to Z (the arrow connects the two letters) and also represents the smile that customers would experience by shopping on the Amazon.com Web site (the arrow becomes a smile).

Anyone with some experiences IT, will tell you the how Sun Microsystems have changed the world of computing. This innovative company has done the brand logo with a twist.

Sun Microsystems

Professor Vaughan Pratt of Stanford University designed Sun’s logo, which features four interleaved copies of the word “sun”. It is an ambigram, defined as a typographical design or artform that may be read as one or more words not only in its form as presented, but also from another viewpoint, direction or orientation. The initial version of the logo had the sides oriented horizontally and vertically, but was subsequently redesigned to appear to stand on one corner.

The logo tells a lot about the organization

The talented designers have done the very best for the company, in terms of the establishing a direct relationship with their clients or the prospective clients.Families and Marriage Magazines have done it with style. The “i’s” in Families and the mirrored “R’s” in Marriage visually symbolize both relationships simply and effectively.

“Adding Vitality to life”- that is what Unilever assures through their many products and services. Meeting the everyday needs for nutrition, hygiene and personal care with brands that help people feel good, look good and get more out of life. If you look carefully, you will find out that the logo itself embodies the various products and services that they bring to make our life a little easier.

Unilever: All the products that needed to add a little value to life

IBM is one of the powerhouses of the computer industry. The company was formed over nearly 100 years of doing business in the field of information handling. Nearly all of the company’s products developed for keeping the ever-growing business data such as records, to process, to communicate, store and retrieve information — from its first scales, tabulators and clocks to today’s powerful computers and vast global networks.

One of the powerhouse in the computer industry

According to the IBM Archives, in 1972 the IBM international recognition logo was adopted and remains the official logo still in use. The IBM logo is easily be recognized by the distinctive eight stripes that make up the letters IBM. The horizontal stripes are intended to suggest “speed and dynamism.”
